Movie Details: What if the conventional wisdom of baseball was all wrong? That’s what Oakland A's General Manager Billy Beane (Brad Pitt) suggests when budget constraints handicap his team’s chances of making it to the World Series. Teaming up with Ivy League grad Peter Brand (Jonah Hill), Beane challenges the system and turns the baseball world upside down by recruiting bargain, “flawed” players and using statistical data to select the team.
